Why do concrete driveways crack in the South Bay?

Do retaining walls need permits?

In most South Bay cities, retaining walls over 4 feet measured from the bottom of footing to the top of wall require a permit. Walls supporting a surcharge (a driveway, structure, or hillside above) often require permits regardless of height. We verify the local code and pull permits as needed.

How long should concrete cure before I drive on it?

A residential driveway should be kept off vehicles for at least 7 days, with full design strength reached at 28 days. Walking traffic is fine after 24 hours.
