III.PROCESS
Site evaluation and utility locate — we mark underground utilities, assess grade and drainage, and review applicable setback and coverage requirements before design begins.
Design consultation and 3D rendering — you see your project in three dimensions, with material options, before any permit is pulled or ground is broken.
HOA design review submission (if applicable) — Paragon prepares the complete PVPOA or HOA submittal package: site plan, material specifications, and drainage narrative.
City permit pull — hardscape permits are required in all South Bay jurisdictions for projects over code thresholds. We manage the application, plan check response, and scheduling.
Site preparation — demolition of existing hardscape, grading, compaction, and aggregate base preparation to city-required depth and compaction specification.
Drainage system installation — French drains, channel drains, or surface drainage slopes are designed and installed as part of every project. Water management is not an afterthought.
Paving installation — concrete, pavers, or natural stone is installed per engineered plan, with proper joint pattern, slope, and edge restraint.
Feature installation — fire pits, outdoor kitchen slab and utility rough-ins (gas, electric, water), and pergola footings are installed in coordination with the paving sequence.
Final sealing and client walkthrough — all concrete and stone surfaces are sealed with an appropriate marine-grade or penetrating sealer. We walk the completed project with you and document the warranty.
