I.OVERVIEW
Designed, installed, removed, and stored. No ladder required.
Professional holiday lighting installation means a crew designs your display, installs commercial-grade LED lights with clips instead of nails or staples, takes everything down after the season, and stores it until next year. Paragon Home Services provides full-service holiday lighting for homes across the South Bay, from Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach to Palos Verdes Estates and Torrance. Our crews handle the roof work, run power through GFCI-protected outlets on timers, and come back after New Year's to take it all down. You pick the look and skip the ladder and the tangled boxes in the garage. Call (310) 406-6675 to reserve an install date.
II.WHY IT MATTERS
Big-box holiday strings are made to last a season or two. Commercial-grade LED lighting uses thicker wire, sealed sockets, and bulbs that hold up to marine layer moisture and salt air along the coast. LEDs draw a fraction of the power of old incandescent bulbs, so more lights fit on each outlet, and they stay cool to the touch against trim and dry landscaping. Color stays consistent from strand to strand, so you don't end up with a roofline where one run is visibly bluer than the next.
Every nail or staple driven into fascia, shingles, or a gutter creates a spot for water to get in. On a South Bay home, that can mean rot and new repair work down the road. Professional installs use clips sized to the surface: gutter clips, shingle tabs, and ridge clips. They hold the lights straight and come off without leaving a mark. Tile and slate roofs, common in Palos Verdes and parts of Manhattan Beach, need their own clip styles and careful footing so tiles don't crack.
The most common problem with DIY displays is a tripped outlet on a rainy night. Every run is planned against the capacity of the outdoor circuit it plugs into. Connections are kept off the ground and weather-sealed, and everything runs through GFCI-protected outlets. Timers or photocells turn the display on at dusk and off at a set hour, so you don't have to think about it. If a home doesn't have enough exterior power for the design, we can scope an additional outdoor circuit with a licensed electrician.
