I.OVERVIEW
Level. Plumb. Built to last.
Cabinets installed unlevel and unplumbed look fine for the first month, then doors fall out of alignment, drawers rub, and panels twist. Paragon installs cabinets — semi-custom, custom, and full inset — to the standards that keep them aligned for the life of the home: laser-leveled, properly shimmed, and with hardware adjusted at install. Countertops are templated digitally, fabricated in our partner shops, and installed with seam placement that minimizes visible joints.
II.WHY IT MATTERS
Cabinet showrooms emphasize door style and finish, but the box construction is what determines longevity. Plywood boxes with dovetail drawers and full-extension soft-close glides last for decades. Particleboard boxes with stapled construction sag and break down — they look identical at install but fail visibly within 5–8 years.
Quartz (engineered stone) is the workhorse for kitchens — heat-resistant to ~300°F, stain-resistant, and consistent in pattern. Quartzite (natural stone, very different from quartz) is harder than granite and beautiful but expensive and requires sealing. Marble is gorgeous and stains aggressively — fine for baths and cocktail bars, risky for working kitchens. We help you match material to use.
Most large kitchen counter installations require seams. Where they go and how they're cut determines whether they're invisible or jarring. We plan seams at sink centers, behind faucets, and across natural transitions — and use seam-setting tools to keep adjacent slabs flush.
